RinkIQ Privacy Policy

RinkIQ (available at rinkiq.app) is operated by ADVANCED SPORTS ANALYTICS OÜ, Rotermanni 8, Tallinn, 10111, Estonia (registry code: 17587742) ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

This policy explains what data we collect when you use RinkIQ, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. What data we collect
We deliberately collect very little:
- Account data – your name and email address. If you sign in with Google or X, we receive these from the provider; we never receive your password for those services, and we do not read from or post to your Google or X accounts. If you register with email, you provide these details directly.
- Subscription data – your plan, subscription status, and payment history. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data – which predictions and analytics you view, and counters we keep to enforce plan limits (for example, the free tier's daily prediction allowance).
- Technical data – IP address, browser type, and timestamps in our server logs.
We do not collect special categories of data (health, political views, etc.) and we do not build advertising profiles of you.
2. Why we use your data, and on what legal basis

We currently do not send marketing emails. If we ever want to, we will ask for your consent first, and you can withdraw it at any time.
3. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertising networks. We use a small number of service providers to run RinkIQ:
- Google Cloud – sign-in, database, and hosting infrastructure; see the Google Cloud Privacy Notice.
- Stripe – payment processing. Stripe acts as an independent controller for some of its payment processing; see Stripe's privacy policy.
These providers process data on our documented instructions and are bound by data processing agreements. Beyond them, we disclose personal data only if we are legally required to (for example, to authorities on a valid legal basis) or to establish or defend legal claims.
4. International transfers
Our data is primarily processed within the EEA. Google and Stripe may process some data in the United States; these transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep your data
- Account and usage data – as long as your account exists. If you delete your account (or ask us to), we delete or anonymise this data without undue delay.
- Payment and accounting records – 7 years, as required by the Estonian Accounting Act.
- Server logs – for as long as they remain necessary for security and debugging.
6. Cookies
RinkIQ uses only essential cookies and similar storage needed to keep you signed in and the service working. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erase your data (delete your account);
- restrict or object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- data portability – receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first – we will do our best to resolve it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee, info@aki.ee).
This policy is governed by Estonian law, and by using RinkIQ you and we agree that any disputes relating to it fall under the jurisdiction of the Estonian authorities and courts.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at rinkiq.app and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app.
